PLEASE NOTE : The Camp is postponed....

We're very sorry, but due to Leader last minute work commitments, we've had to re-schedule the Camp planned for 20th/21st March.

This will now DEFINETLY take place on May 8th/9th

Those of you that have returned the form for the Camp we will contact, and if you can make it, will transfer this across to the new date.

Wednesday March 17th

Caving - A not to be missed experience.

Due to County demand we can't repeat Caving after this run of visits for 3 years so don't miss it.This is a fully supervised trip by 2 highly experienced Scout approved Instructors, (together with 1 or 2 Chiddingfold Scout Leaders), into the Merston Mine caves near Leatherhead.

The caves are mostly dry and surprisingly warm (10 deg C) so Scouts will get more dusty than wet.

Scouts to wear walking boots or Wellingtons on their feet and old clothes.

The best clothing is overalls as we will be crawling about for some of the trip.

Scouts to bring a change of clothes, or to take overalls off, plus perhaps a drink and a snack for the journey home.

Meet at the Village Hall to leave Prompt at 6pm. We'll be back at 10pm.
